Asia Society and the George Lucas Educational Foundation are pleased to release A World-Class Education: Volume 2. This DVD, the second in the series, features an updated film on the importance of international knowledge and skills in the 21st century and outlines steps that schools, communities and policy makers can take. Short films highlight exceptional school models in action:

Volume 1 in the series features an action kit focused on improving international studies in American schools. The kit offers practical guidelines and resources for communities and state policymakers including a print guide outlining practical action steps through discussion questions to help communities and states devise new strategies to close the international knowledge gap. Also included are short films highlighting best practice models:
