Wimbledon Finals Odds: Murray, Williams Betting Favorites at All-England Club

However, this time around the second-seeded Murray is listed as a large -400 favorite (bet $400 to win $100) to win against sixth-seeded Canadian Milos Raonic at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark.
Before the tournament started, Murray was expected to face top-seeded Novak Djokovic, who won Wimbledon each of the past two years and three times overall. However, Djokovic was stunned in the third round by 28th-seeded American Sam Querrey, and then Raonic turned around and beat him 6-4, 7-5, 5-7, 6-4 in the quarterfinals.
While Raonic took advantage of Djokovic’s absence to advance to the semis, he did pull off a big upset in taking out third-seeded Roger Federer in five sets. Raonic is a +300 underdog (bet $100 to win $300) to win his first Grand Slam tourney on the Wimbledon betting lines.
Murray has experienced more lucky breaks in getting to the final, needing to beat 12th-seeded Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the quarters and 10th-seeded Tomas Berdych in the semis. Tsonga took him to five sets before he eliminated Berdych in three.
On the women’s side, it’s no surprise to see top-seeded Serena Williams going for her seventh Wimbledon title Saturday. Williams is a heavy -400 favorite versus fourth-seeded Angelique Kerber, who ousted her sister Venus 6-4, 6-4 in the semis.
Like Raonic, Kerber is a +300 underdog, although she has been in this position before. Kerber upset Williams 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 to win the 2016 Australian Open back in January.
Williams is still trying to match Steffi Graf’s career record of 22 major singles titles and can accomplish the feat while avenging the earlier loss to Kerber. Williams breezed by unseeded Elena Vesnina 6-2, 6-0 in the semis and...
