Wimbledon 2015 Draw: Bracket, Schedule and Preview of Men and Women’s Draw

The reigning Australian Open and French Open champion could be faced with a route that includes Ana Ivanovic, Maria Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka. Unless there are a number of upsets to the top contenders on Williams' side of the draw, the future Hall of Famer will be forced to earn this Grand Slam title at the expense of players with a wealth of experience.
Courtney Nguyen of SI.com doesn't see this as a major task for Williams to overcome. She writes:
A semifinal against either Sharapova or French Open finalist Lucie Safarova is also a possibility, though Sharapova has made it past the fourth round just once since 2006. And given their head-to-head—Sharapova has not beaten Serena in over a decade—that potential semifinal won't have Serena quaking in her Nikes. All in all, with all the question marks surrounding the top seeds in her half, this is a good draw for Serena.
Even with the name recognition in Williams' draw, the fact is, she has a career mark of 41-6 against Sharapova, Ivanovic and Azarenka. In fact, this draw could be looked at as favorable when you consider the last three women to beat Williams—Alize Cornet, Sabine Lisicki and Petra Kvitova—are all in the bottom half of the draw.
There's a chance one of them might be waiting for Williams in the finals. We all know that draws are irrelevant if Williams is playing at the top of her game, but if she has a slippage one of these ladies will be looking to take advantage.
