Wimbledon 2011: Can Ana Ivanovic Repeat Performance of 2007?

Can the Serb recapture her Grand Slam form and make it as far as the semifinals, as she did in 2007?
There is no reason why not.
Ivanovic, currently the World No.18, is unmistakably talented. Her obvious talents are her looks, but she does possess a game that can challenge those at the top of the pecking order.
With one Grand Slam and three finals to her name, her ability is clear to see. However, is it all just in the past and is she now nothing more than a top 20 player?
Ivanovic's Grand Slam record in 2011 is not good. She was knocked out in the first round of both the Australian Open and the French Open and she was beaten in the first round at Wimbledon last year.
The difference now is that she is not injured. She went into the Australian Open and French Open with little court time. Now that Ivanovic has wins under her belt she can feel confident going into Wimbledon on Monday.
In order to perform as well as she did in 2007, Ivanovic has to attack and use her powerful forehand. Her mind has to be free of any negative thoughts and she must think positively throughout.
Many have felt that mentally Ivanovic has struggled over the past few years. After some poor Grand Slam performances in her last seven appearances (with exception to US Open 2010), Ivanovic is due an extended run and where better than SW19.
Losing to a confident Daniela Hantuchova (semifinals) and Venus Williams (second round) in Birmingham and Eastbourne are no reasons to panic, but it gives the Serb something to work on before the championships start.
Can Ivanovic impress at Wimbledon?
