Williams vs. Muguruza: Live Score, Highlights from Wimbledon 2015 Women’s Final

In front of the usual star-studded crowd at Wimbledon's Centre Court, Williams overcame early serving difficulties that put her down a break to get the upper hand on 21-year-old Muguruza, playing in her first Grand Slam championship.
When Serena struggled, Muguruza showed plenty of determination with her aggressive playing style, a departure from what we've seen in the past from Spain's top female players. But Williams regained her composure in the late stages of the first set and jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the second set, then suffered a lapse before securing the win.
Looking down and out, Muguruza broke Williams twice and fought off a championship point before finally falling to the player that some are now calling the best ever in women's tennis.
The win means that Williams currently hold all four women's Grand Slam titles—her first "Serena Slam" since 2002-03. With wins in the first three Grand Slam events of 2015, a victory in September at this year's U.S. Open would make her the first woman to earn a Calendar Slam since Steffi Graf in 1988. One more Grand Slam win for Williams will also tie Graf's Open Era record of 22 victories.
