Who Will Win In Atlanta This Week?

Here are my picks.
First quarter
I really like Andy Roddick to come through this section, probably beating Xavier Malisse in the quarters. Roddick should be fired up after a disappointing Wimbledon, and there isn't a whole lot in his section to threaten him.

Second quarter
Horacio Zeballos is the favorite in this section as far as seeding goes. Horacio who? The winner of the Taylor Dent-James Blake match (top first-round matchup) will play Zeballos in the second round and beat him. I'll take Taylor Dent with the way Blake's been playing. This is a very tough quarter with both Robby Ginipri and Mardy Fish in this section as well. Fish has been playing well, coming off a tournament win in Newport (on grass). I'll go with the hot hand to keep things going.

Third quarter
This is another interesting quarter with Lleyton Hewitt as the top seed in this section. Janko Tipsarevic and American Donald Young (still waiting for him to reach his potential) in this quarter. I like Tipsarevic to get through and play Hewitt in the quarters. However, in the quarters I'll take the Aussie, Aussie, Aussie to win.

Fourth quarter
Big-serving John Isner is the top seed in this section. Fresh off his 71-69 win in the fifth set marathon at Wimbledon, Isner is back in action this week in his home state. Benjamin Becker is also in this section, but I like Isner to get through and make the semifinals.
