Cetkovska used an amazing 61 winners to overcome an equally astonishing 60 unforced errors. It was an incredibly close match with both players almost even in most of the statistical categories. However, Cetkovska was able to stave off four match points in the final set to force the tiebreaker.

When the match was over, Wozniacki talked about the crushing defeat, per the Press Association (via the Guardian):
“It really sucks to lose a match like that. Here, not playing my best level, but still being so close, and still having my chances but not closing it out, that hurts. That really hurts.”
No. 26 Flavia Pennetta is next for Cetkovska. Pennetta defeated Monica Niculescu 6-1, 6-4 to earn a spot in the third round. In the other upset of the day, Wimbledon runner-up and No. 9 seed Garbine Muguruza fell to Johanna Konta 7-6 (7-4), 6-7 (4-7), 6-2.
The match lasted two hours and 23 minutes. Muguruza wasn't in top form, as she committed 13 double-faults and had 59 unforced errors. She deserves credit for hanging in, but fatigue seemed to get the best of her late in the match.
