US Open Tennis 2013 Results: Early Day 2 Scores and Highlights

Her three-set victory over Japan's Misaki Doi, as shown by US Open Tennis, headlined the early action on Day 2 at Flushing Meadows:
Unlike the upset-laden Wimbledon Championships, the top seeds at this year's U.S. Open have generally been taking care of business.
Most of the top seeds scheduled for action on Tuesday have yet to finish their rounds, but there was plenty of spirited competition throughout the morning and into the afternoon.
Here's a look at the matches that have been completed, as of 3 p.m. ET, followed by some of the day's best highlights.
Milos Raonic (No. 10) Overpowers Thomas Fabbiano
Raonic's serve appeared bionic on Tuesday.
The Canadian torched Fabbiano with 28 aces, winning the match in straight sets.
In addition to Raonic's big serve, he fired 52 winners compared to just 13 for Fabbiano. If not for a bevy of unforced errors by Raonic, the match wouldn't have been close.
He completely overwhelmed his opponent from start to finish. If he can continue firing aces with this kind of regularity throughout the tournament, then Raonic will be a dangerous opponent in the later rounds.
Raonic will now face Spain's Pablo Andujar in the second round.
Michal Przysiezny Gives Julien Benneteau (No. 31) a Run for His Money
Benneteau had to work hard to get past Przysiezny on Tuesday.
Both men were sharp, as illustrated by their combined eight unforced errors in the four-set match.
Benneteau ended up overcoming his challenger, but didn't win by a big margin, with 125 total points compared to Przysiezny's 110.
