Shenzhen Open 2015: Wednesday Tennis Scores, Results and Latest Draw Schedule

The Czech recovered well from losing an early break against American Austin Krajicek to waltz into the next round. Also through are third seed Tommy Robredo, sixth seed Jiri Vesely and Simone Bolelli after another entertaining day of action from China.
Here are Wednesday’s results in full and a closer examination of how the four matches panned out in Shenzhen.

Berdych Makes Shenzhen Bow
After a relatively uneventful start to this year’s Shenzhen Open, all eyes were on the top seed as he began his quest for glory. Krajicek, who impressed in his opening match against James Duckworth, flew out of the traps in this one, though.
The American took an early break and moved into a 2-0 lead, triggering some thoughts of a potential upset. But once Berdych got into his stride, there was only going to be one winner. The imposing Czech broke back immediately and went on to win the first set 7-5.
Krajicek didn’t put up quite as much of a fight in the second, as Berdych dictated with his thunderous groundstrokes and powerful serving. Eventually, the world No. 5 won the second stanza 6-3 and as we can see here, courtesy of Live Tennis, totted up an impressive number of aces in the process:
Robredo is a man many expect to challenge Berdych here, and he also had to battle hard in the opening stages. The Spaniard was up against Japan’s Hiroki Moriya, ranked 189 places below Robredo in the world, and the outsider gave a strong account of himself in an even first set.
But the third seed showed his superior mental strength late in the opener, breaking Moriya and taking the first stan...
