Berdych Class Untouchable
It appeared at one point the conclusion of the semi-finals would not be reached as the heavens once again opened in China, but the players finally made it back on court to complete their matches.
Berdych was once again the star of the show, with the top seed easily cruising past Robredo to claim his final spot. The Spaniard could only win five games across the two sets as Berdych proved why he is the tournament's top seed.

In Sunday's other semi-final, Garcia-Lopez was forced to battle back against Cilic after being blown away in the opening set.
The second set appeared to be heading to a tie-breaker, but the Spaniard snatched a dramatic break to level the match—changing its momentum.
It was Garcia-Lopez who stepped up a gear in the final set as Cilic began to falter. He closed out the match convincingly to set up his final showdown against Berdych.
Anything but a Berdych win seems incomprehensible, but Garcia-Lopez displayed he has the necessary fight and determination to compete.
