Roger Federer Will Reclaim Australian Open Title in Stunning Fashion

The last time Federer won the Australian Open title was 2010, capping his impressive showing with a triumphant win over Andy Murray in three sets. As he embarks on a new Australian Open campaign, he has also opted to go about it in a different fashion.
Rather than playing in exhibition tournaments as he normally does before the Aussie Open, Federer is planning on competing less this upcoming year. At 31 years of age, the relaxed schedule will probably do wonders for Federer in preparation for the Open.
Despite recent disappointment, Federer will no doubt be prepared to come back with a vengeance and face-off against old foes. The world’s second best will look to do battle against the likes of Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic—all of which undoubtedly have championship aspirations of their own.
For Federer, January is a chance to remind everyone that he's not quite finished yet.
Considering his amazing talent and legendary résumé, the world’s second-ranked phenom stands poised to remind everyone of his greatness; as if a seventh Wimbledon title just this year wasn't already enough.
Despite not seeing him as much as we're used to before tournaments, the 2013 Australian Open and beyond certainly bode well for Federer.
