Roger Federer Helps Young Fan from Crush at US Open, Is the Best Guy

Federer was signing autographs after his fourth-round U.S. Open victory over John Isner on Monday when fans lining the courtside walls pressed in close and threatened to crush a small boy against a barrier.
Federer noticed the danger and urged fans to step back as he called on security to pluck the child out of the stands.
Then, because Federer is a full-service savior, he autographed the child's hat and ball and consoled him as he tried to come to terms with the drastic changes that had just occurred in his life. Going from nearly being trampled to eye-to-eye on the court with Roger Federer is a pretty radical turn of events.
Good job, Rog. And chill out, tennis fans.
I know Federer embodies timeless elegance and is everything we should strive to be on a daily basis, but it's not worth smashing the youth for his name on a ball.
