Novak Djokovic vs. David Ferrer: Winner and Score from 2013 Paris Masters Final

The top-ranked Serb has now won three consecutive tournaments since losing to Rafael Nadal in the U.S. Open final and will carry his momentum into London for the 2013 ATP World Tour Finals this coming week, per USA Today's Douglas Robson on Twitter:
After picking up an early break in the opening set, Ferrer looked to be in excellent shape, leading 5-3. But Djokovic, sensing his window was closing, showed why he's the top returner in today's game (won 43 percent of his total return points), reeling off four straight games to stun the Spaniard in the opening set.
Surprisingly, Ferrer was unfazed by his collapse and opened the second set with a quick break.
He would hold serve for the better part of the set, but came up short on his second chance to serve out a set at 5-4. Djokovic earned his third break of the match to level the set at five games apiece before taking a 6-5 advantage.
Ferrer had a shot to force a tiebreak with his serve but was unable to handle Djokovic's return.
The world No. 3 didn't play well enough in the big moments to win on Sunday, but nonetheless the defeat is sure to haunt him moving forward given the numerous missed opportunities. Ferrer was only able to win 61 percent of his first serves for the match and converted just 2 of 6 break points.
The victory is Djokovic's first at the Paris Masters since 2009, when he beat Gael Monfils in a third-set tiebreak.
