Novak Djokovic Pops Question, Reportedly Engaged to Girlfriend Jelena Ristic

In Serbia (h/t The Big Lead) reports the 26-year-old is now engaged to his lovely girlfriend, capping off a wonderful year on and off the court: "Serbian Broadcasting Corporation (Radio Television of Serbia) confirmed the news that world’s best tennis player Novak Djokovic and his girlfriend Jelena Ristic engaged two days ago in Monte Carlo, after eight years of relationship."
According to the report, Djokovic popped the question prior to a trip to Beijing, and he may have just decided to procure a very famous tennis star as his best man.
Andy Murray's name was mentioned for the honor, but the report is careful to say all of this is mere speculation at the moment, including when and where the couple plan to marry.
As for Djokovic, he tweeted out the following on Wednesday afternoon.
The news caps off a wonderful moment in Djokovic's life, as he recently celebrated 100 weeks atop the tennis world, according to ATP World Tour.
Let's just take a moment to congratulate tennis' dynamic duo. Djokovic time and again lives up to his moniker "Djoker," infusing the sport with passion as well as humor.
As for Ristic, she has become something of a fan favorite, happy to wear her emotions proudly for all to see during important matches.
