Wawrinka Sparked Locker Room Row, Says Kyrgios' Brother Friday, Aug. 14 "He put his hands on Nick—grabbed him and said a whole bunch of abusive s--t," wrote Christos Kyrgios, Nick's brother, in a now-deleted Facebook post, relayed by Telegraph.
"I've studied law and that s--t is abuse bro. Lucky we aren't pressing charges," he added in the post-match comment. "The p---k is lucky I wasn't there or he would have been withdrawing from the next few tournaments."
Wawrinka was clearly angered by Kyrgios' insult and took to Twitter after Wednesday's match to express his displeasure.
"So disappointing to see a fellow athlete and colleague be so disrespectful in a way I could never even imagine," said Wawrinka during a string of tweets.
Kyrgios continued his apology on Friday, sending out a statement which read: "I apologize to Donna Vekić and her family, as well as Thanasi Kokkinakis and his family for dragging them into something that wasn't deserved for them."

Kyrgios issued a public apology on Facebook earlier in the day and explained therein that he'd reached out to Wawrinka in private about the situation.
