Maria Sharapova: Comeback Still On Track In Melbourne

And although she has seemingly returned back to full strength with three wins from October 2009 to May 2010 and a trio of runner-ups last summer, a win at this year's Australian Open would make comeback complete.
It may be unfair, but Sharapova set a high bar for herself, winning a US Open, Wimbledon, and Australian Open all before turning 21.
Sharapova, who turns 24 in April, is the 14th seed in this year's Australian Open and she bested Tamarine Tanasugarn 6-1, 6-3 in the opening round and Virginie Razzano 7-6 (3), 6-3 in the second.
She'll take on Julia Gorges in the third round.
Last year, Sharapova was defeated in her opening match 6-7 (4), 6-3, 4-6, by Maria Kirilenko.
