Indian Wells 2014 Results: Day 3 Scores, Updated Bracket and Day 4 Schedule

The women's singles draw really kicked into gear on Friday with the beginning of the second round, and it only took a few hours for the first major scalp to be claimed. No. 3 Victoria Azarenka was upset in straight sets by Lauren Davis.
Second-round play continued into Saturday, joined by the men's singles draw as well. With the top men's players in the world entering the fray, the chances of seeing a couple of major upsets increased, adding a lot more excitement to the tournament.
Here's a look at the scores from Saturday and two of the bigger developments from the rounds.
Business as Usual
Aside from a few upsets here and there, Saturday's action went according to plan. It was rather anticlimactic, unfortunately. Across both draws, only seven seeded players were knocked out, and most of them were down in the 15-30 range, so these weren't earth-shattering results.
Top-seeded Li Na, No. 4 Mara Sharapova and No. 8 Petra Kvitova are all through on the women's side, while No. 1 Rafael Nadal, No. 3 Stanislas Wawrinka, No. 5 Andy Murray and No. 7 Roger Federer advanced on the men's side.
Of those seven players, five prevailed in straight sets. Only Murray and Nadal were pushed to three. With Murray, though, it was pretty clear after the second set that he would cruise over Lukas Rosol in the third, and so he did.
It's progress for Murray, as he lost his opening match at Indian Wells in both 2011 and 2012, per Ben Rotherberg of the New York Times:
