Saturday Recap Cuevas edged the first set by a single break.
Neither player served remarkably well, but the Uruguayan was more clinical in punishing his opponent's second serve—aided by three double-faults on Olivo's part—and found success at the net with some neat volleying.
The Argentinian was able to fend off six break points but struggled to threaten Cuevas' serve, earning just one opportunity to break and failing to take it—ensuring there would only be one outcome when he eventually succumbed.

Olivo was somewhat more threatening in the second set as he pursued a way back into the match, but he couldn't convert any of his five break points with Cuevas dropping just three of 20 points on his first serve, per Pro Tennis Live.
Once again he was broken, and Cuevas made no mistake in seeing out the match, securing his place in the final when Olivo netted a backhand.
