Gael Monfils Stuns French Open Crowd with Incredible Dance Moves

As per Stuart Fraser of the Daily Mail, Frenchman Monfils “is renowned as one of the biggest entertainers on the tour," and he certainly proved that during Monday’s rain delay.
Monfils was due to begin his French Open campaign against Victor Hanescu of Romania but instead faced off against his relatively unknown compatriot Laurent Lokoli in a different type of contest altogether—wowing the Roland Garros crowd with his moves in an unexpected, and very entertaining, dance-off.
Footage of the dance-off soon surfaced on the official Roaland Garros YouTube channel and has already started to go viral.
Monfils is now scheduled to complete his first-round match on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lokoli will face America’s Steve Johnson in what will be the Frenchman’s first ever Grand Slam encounter.
On the court, fellow Frenchmen Jo-Wilfired Tsonga and Gilles Simon both eased through to Round 2 and are joined by defending champion Rafael Nadal. However, there has been one major casualty as Australian Open winner Stansilas Wawrinka crashed out to Spaniard Guillermo Garcia-Lopez; although it is worth noting the Swiss star is still recovering from a recent injury.
Monfils, the world No. 27, will be hoping for a successful fortnight at his favoured Grand Slam. The Frenchman has previously reached two quarter-finals as well as making a semi-final appearance in 2008. He is set to meet either Jan-Lennard Struff or Albano Olivetti in Round 2.
And if the tennis ever goes wrong, it appears that he may have an alternative career already planned out.
