French Open 2015: Sunday Results, Highlights, Scores, Recap from Roland Garros

Such was not the case Sunday, however, though the day wasn't completely devoid of surprising performances or upsets. Let's break down the results and highlights from Roland Garros.

As is to be expected, there wasn't too much drama Sunday at Roland Garros, as the majority of the seeded players, including No. 2 Roger Federer, cruised to victories.
Federer had little difficulty with Alejandro Falla, defeating him 6-3, 6-3, 6-4. But the day was not without incident for Federer, as a young fan made his way on the court and took a selfie with Federer during a break in the match.
After, Federer was justifiably upset, per ESPN on Twitter:
No. 5 Kei Nishikori had a little more trouble with Paul-Henri Mathieu, namely in the second set, when he had to scrap out a 7-5 win, but ultimately, Nishikori was able to put his opponent away in straight sets. Ditto for No. 8 Stan Wawrinka, who cruised to a 6-3, 6-2, 6-3 victory over Marsel Ilhan.

Other notable winners included No. 14 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, No. 19 Roberto Bautista Agut, No. 22 Philipp Kohlschreiber and No. 24 Ernests Gulbis.
