French Open 2014: Schedule and Bracket Predictions for Day 10 at Roland Garros

The red clay at Roland Garros has already claimed a handful of favorites, especially on the women's side, where 2012 champion Maria Sharapova is now the odds-on favorite to prevail. The seventh-seeded Russian star is one of the big names set to step on Court Philippe Chatrier on Day 10.
Joining Sharapova on the grand stage will be men's favorite Novak Djokovic, who has looked sensational through the first four rounds.

Day 10 Predictions
Sharapova Will Keep on Cruising
With the top three women's seeds having been eliminated in the tournament's first week, Sharapova understands the opportunity she has to win her fifth Grand Slam, per Roland Garros on Twitter:
Sharapova will take on the upset-minded Garbine Muguruza on Tuesday, and although the overlooked Spaniard made headlines by knocking out defending champion Serena Williams in the second round last week, Sharapova will have the undeniable edge in this meeting.
Not only did Sharapova win their only previous meeting on the Rome clay last year, but Muguruza has been untested since defeating Williams. Sharapova will be a major step up in class and you can expect the unseeded challenger to crumble as the magnitude of the moment ultimately catches up with her.
The 20-year-old certainly has a bright future ahead, but Sharapova has shown us a little bit of everything so far in Paris, fighting from behind in the fourth round and playing tremendous points on her first serve.
Look for the four-time major winner to reach her fourth consecutive French Open semifinal on Day 10 via a straight-sets rout of Muguruza.
