French Open 2011: Fast Third-Round Matches for Roger Federer and David Ferrer

No. 7 seed Ferrer is proving that he is the one of best men on clay this season in his match against No. 31 seed Sergiy Stakhovsky, winning 6-1, 6-1, 6-3.
He played with very few errors—only nine to his opponents 37 unforced errors. Consistency was the name of his game being able to win 80 percent of points on his first serve while being about to break six of seven break points opportunities.
Roger Federer made his third round match look easy in a quick three-set match won in 90 minutes. The first set was only 19 minutes and the World No. 3 outplayed Serbian Janko Tipsarevic 6-1, 6-4, 6-3 with 39 winners.
The No. 29 seed could not get past Federer's angled serves and 10 aces. Federer actually hit more errors at 20 to Tipsarevic's 13, but it made no difference as he could not convert a single break point and could not win a point on Federer's serve, only winning 25 percent of return points.
After gracefully making it into the fourth round, Federer told the Tennis Channel, “It’s nice when I get on rolls like this.”
The weather was described as “chilly” by Roger Federer which makes it tougher conditions to play in.
