Citi Open 2014: Daily Scores, Results and Draw Schedule

Some of the top players in the world are entered in the Citi Open from both the men's and women's sides. Those names include No. 1 Tomas Berdych and No. 2 Milos Raonic, along with Americans No. 4 Sloane Stephens and Atlanta Open winner John Isner.
After running the table in Atlanta, Isner comes into the Citi Open as the No. 5 seed. Isner shared his thoughts on the tournament, per the ATP staff:
“This is my favorite time of year,” he said. “I’m off to a very good start again. I look forward to playing Washington D.C. again. I’ve played well there my whole career.”
While he's never won the event, Isner has been the runner-up twice, including the 2013 tournament. Both times Isner was downed by a notable player in Andy Roddick in 2007 and Juan Martin del Potro last season.
One player whom Berdych, Raonic and Isner won't have to contend with is Grigor Dimitrov. Fresh off a semifinals appearance at Wimbledon, Dimitrov was forced to withdraw from the tournament due to a flu and sinus infection, according to Reuters.
Dimitrov's absence was noted by tournament director Jeff Newman in the Reuters report.
"We will miss having Grigor as a part of this year's tournament, but his health is priority number one," Newman said. "We hope he gets better quickly and wish him great success for the rest of the year."
On the women's side, Lucie Safarova is the No. 1 seed after a quarterfinals run at Wimbledon. The No. 17 player in the world will have to compete with seven others ranked inside the Top 30, including No. 2 Ekaterina Makarova and Stephens.
