Caroline Wozniacki Strengthens Hold on No. 1 in Latest WTA Rankings

By winning at Charleston on Sunday, and with No. 2 Kim Clijsters limited by injury, Wozniacki extended her points lead over her closest rival to more than 1,800 (9,930 to 8,115).
There was only one minor change in the women's top 25 as Svetlana Kuznetsova vaulted Agnieszka Radwanska to reclaim No. 13.
The biggest move in the top 50 came from Wozniacki's Charleston finals opponent, Elena Vesnina, who jumped from 56th to 45th.

American Ryan Sweeting soared 26 spots in the rankings to No. 67 after winning the clay court title in Houston on Sunday afternoon. It's easily a career high for Sweeting, and the biggest move by any man inside on the top 100 in the week preceding the Masters 1000 at Monte Carlo.
The jump makes Sweeting the No. 5 American player in the world; he was previously seventh.
Other big movers on the week were Spain's Pablo Andjuar, who won Casabalanca and gained 17 spots to No. 52, and Houston runner-up Kei Nishikori, who surged 13 spots to No. 48.Andujar's ascension gives Spain 11 players in the top 60, easily the most of any nation.
