It could not be better this week. I came here from a full two weeks of practice. I didn't know what to expect of myself. So I’m pretty satisfied with this result… I will remember this week. It was very emotional for me and is something special. I found a way to beat some good players and succeed.
He will try to take home another title, but he enters the tournament unseeded thanks to an inconsistent start to the 2014 season. It will truly be an uphill battle to get through a difficult draw to the finals.

Mikhail Youzhny, Gael Monfils, Vasek Pospisil and others are certain to create a challenge as well, but the name to really look out for is Gilles Simon. The No. 4 seed in the tournament has won this event three times in his career in 2007, 2008 and 2012.
The French veteran knows what it takes to be successful on this stage and will not go down without a fight.
