Four-time former champ Roger Federer would love nothing more than to end the year on the highest note possible. Experiencing a relative "off" season by his standards, Federer will be adamant on fine-tuning his killer forehand, which deserted him at the Paris Indoors.
The Swiss' road to the semifinals will be tough, to say the least. Facing a variety of different baseline artists, Federer's journey to the semis could be halted by recent Paris champ Robin Soderling, six-time Masters winner Andy Murray and ultra-consistent Spaniard David Ferrer.
It would be more than fitting if the crowd in London received a Nadal vs. Federer final. But the likelihood of that matchup taking place would be a long shot.
