Australian Open 2011: Novak Djokovic Secures Semifinal Clash with Roger Federer

Giving his Czech opponent few chances to make anything out of his quarterfinal appearance, Serbia's Novak Djokovic locked in his spot in the Australian Open semifinals Tuesday night with a 6-1, 7-6, 6-1 triumph over Tomas Berdych.
The win sets up another semifinal clash between Djokovic, the No. 3 ranked player in the world, and No. 2 Roger Federer.
The two last met in the US Open semifinals, with Djokovic pulling out a five-set classic.
It is Djokovic's first time through to the semifinals here since he won the title in 2008.
Berdych was in the quarterfinals for the first time.
The victory further stressed the growing disparity between the top third of the Top 10 and the rest of the tennis world.
Djokovic had twice as many aces (10-5), 80 percent fewer doubles faults (one to five) and committed 11 fewer unforced errors (21 to 32) than the man three places behind him in the rankings.
