ATP Montreal Masters Final: Novak Djokovic vs Mardy Fish Preview

Djokovic enters Sunday's final as a huge favorite and the fact that he has not faced much of a challenge in Montreal this week makes him look all the more likely to beat Fish.
Djokovic was supposed to face a test from Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the semifinals however the Serb was handed victory as Tsonga tapped out early in the second set, already down 0-3.
Fish didn't have a tough time with Janko Tipsarevic in their semifinal however the American has dropped a couple sets during his run in Montreal this week.
Djokovic, besides being the better player, should be the much fresher player in the final as not only has he not dropped a set in Montreal, but Djokovic has not even been extended to a tiebreaker. His matches have been reasonably easy and certainly relatively non-fatiguing.
There is nothing in the head to head history between Djokovic and Fish that could give the American any sense of optimism heading into the final. Djokovic is 6-0 in matches played against Fish and 15-3 in terms of sets played.
Five of their matches have been played on the hard court surface and Fish is one of the players to have fallen to Djokovic during his current reign of terror.
Djokovic, en route to a title, beat Fish in the semifinal of the Miami Masters 6-3, 6-1 earlier this year.
Fish has never quite been a good enough player to win a tournament of the magnitude of ATP Montreal as he is 0-3 in the past for Masters Series 1000 championship matches.
Look for Fish to go 0-4 on Sunday in a match that starts not before 3pm ET.
