Andy Roddick Does Terrible Jay Z Impression After Watching Grammys

After watching Jay Z take home a Grammy on Sunday night, the tennis star decided to break out his best Jay Z impression.
Naturally, video of Roddick’s Jay Z routine was posted to Instagram by his super model girlfriend Brooklyn Decker, where it was spotted by Stephen Douglas of The Big Lead.
It’s about as cheesy a HOVA impression as one could ever hope to hear, especially if you’ve been privy to Jay Pharoah’s version of the hip hop mogul.
Roddick also doesn’t stack up to Vine-famous stand-up comedian Ry Doon.
To be fair, anyone who has ever practiced an impression in the shower (or in bed with Brooklyn Decker) knows that what we think sounds spot-on turns out to sound less authentic when recorded and posted to the Interwebs.
Also, you may have just thought to yourself, “Man, its been a hot minute since I did my impressions in a California king-sized bed with someone of the beauty and body fat percentage of Brooklyn Decker."
In that spirit, I’m sure Roddick isn’t too worried about not delivering authentic impersonations. He's enjoying his retirement, which constitutes hanging out and working as a co-host on Fox Sports 1’s Fox Sports Live. He also enjoys spending his weekends keeping up with music and pop culture.
Yep, Roddick loves him some Grammys. I forecast him stowing away that impression until he’s polished it a bit further—or downs several large glasses of wine.
