Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic on Course to Meet in 2013 Rogers Cup Final

This week's tournament draw is hardly unimpressive, with many of the sport's big names taking part, including Rafael Nadal, Tomas Berdych and Juan Martin del Potro among those still standing. But Djokovic and Murray have been the best the sport has had to offer on hard courts as of late, and both are clearly thrilled (see the below video) to be back on the surface that they've ruled at the Australian Open and U.S. Open over the years.
Both players are making their first appearance since Murray beat Djokovic in straight sets at the Wimbledon final on July 7. But each had an easy time getting through the second round earlier this week, with both players winning in straight sets to advance to the round of 16.
Plus, Murray's side of the draw has opened up after third-seeded David Ferrer went down in his first match, losing to Alex Bogomolov Jr. in straight sets.
Berdych and del Potro are the two biggest threats to the defending U.S. Open champion at this point. Keep in mind, though, that the Scottish star won all three of his hard-court meetings with Berdych in 2012 and is 5-2 against del Potro all time, 4-1 against him on hard courts.
Meanwhile, Djokovic's biggest worry en route to the final will be Nadal, who won the only previous hard-court tournament he entered this season, dropping just two sets total on his way to conquering Indian Wells back in March.
