What just happened? Are you kidding me?

Those are expressions tennis fans across the world are wondering right now when thinking about the women's field in the 2011 French Open.

The top two seeds in the field have already been eliminated and it's not even the second week of the tournament. Not to mention a past champion and the defending runner up being eliminated as well.

World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki was defeated today in the third round by Daniela Hantuchova 6-1, 6-3, and in convincing fashion. Another big name in the sport, Maria Sharapova, was two games away from going out early as well and as it stands now, she is the only real big name remaining in the draw. Normally you would think that it would be her tournament to lose, but you never know with the state of the women's game today and how this tournament has gone.

Last year's finalist Samantha Stosur also lost in today's action due to a flat performance against Gisela Dulko. 2008 French Open Champion Ana Ivanovic lost back in the first round, leaving this draw wi...
