The time was 9:20 P.M. All of the matches had finished except one.

Out on the final court, Lukas Lacko and Michael Yani (pictured) were still battling.

The score was 6-4, 6-7, 6-7, 7-6, 8-8 when the match was finally called. The match was probably the best of day one at the French Open, and it will be finished tomorrow at approximately 7:30 A.M. EST or 1:30 P.M. in Paris.

Marco is in his first year back after being sidelined by an injury for most of his career.

Edouard Roger Vasselin came back from two sets down to take out the South African giant, Kevin Anderson.

Thiemo De Bakker won his first french open match with a four set victory over Olivier Patience. Tobias Kamke, Albert Montanes, Alejandro Falla, Mikhail Youzhny, Jullien Benneteau, Guillermo Garcia Lopez, and Juan Ignacio Chela were all able to advance in straight sets.
