My school/program applied for a prize in an earlier prize cycle. Are we eligible to apply again? Do we need to resubmit an application?
Yes, with the exception of past winners, all prior applicants are eligible to apply again. All applicants must resubmit an application using the online system.

Are applications from schools or organizations outside the United States accepted?
No. The Goldman Sachs Foundation Prizes for Excellence in International Education were created to recognize youth, schools, district/states, and media/technology organizations that raise the level of knowledge and understanding among American students about the rest of the world. While programs based abroad may complement the aims of this awards program, they are not eligible for the prizes.

Are programs that meet the prize criteria, but do not fit in a specific category, such as summer camps, student exchanges, or after-school programs eligible for the prizes?
While we understand the importance of innovation outside the defined prize categories in helping to raise the level of international knowledge and skills among American students, the prizes were created with the specific objective of recognizing innovation in the defined areas: youth engagement, K-12 schools, district/state policy, and media/technology.

What are the application fees?
There are no application fees.

What supporting materials are needed?
All Youth Prize submissons must be accompanied by a bibliography. Supporting materials in all other categories are optional and must be sumitted as part of your online application.
