Curriculum Inventory

An integral part of taking stock of the status of international education in your community or state is to familiarize yourself with state education standards. Note any mention of foreign languages or international content. State standards should be available on your state department of education website. Check the US Department of Education (DOE) site for a link to your state education agency.

Some states such as Wisconsin, have already integrated international education into their standards. The state has also published a Planning Curriculum in International Education guide.
