Sleek and simple in style, these new kits nonetheless have plenty of features that make them cutting edge. According to Nike, the jerseys are made with an "ultra-soft dri-fit fabric" that "pulls moisture away from the skin to the outside of the shirt where it evaporates more quickly."
They also have "laser-cut holes" and "mesh zones" to make sure the uniforms allow for airflow and keep the wearer cool.
But the look is key, and this is a classy twist on a familiar design. Not surprisingly, they are pretty popular with those who have seen them thus far.

The light gray stripes that run across the kit are a subtle but nice touch, while the red trim on the sleeves and collar really pops. It gives the whole thing an almost business-casual feel.
The United States men will be hoping they look cool, and play cool, while they face daunting competition in a World Cup group that also includes Germany, Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal and a recent nemesis of the USMNT, Ghana.
While Germany and Portugal will be favored to advance to the round of 16, the United States certainly has a chance, especially given their strong form in the past two years.
At least we know they'll look good while they undertake that challenge.
