Twitter Reacts as England Lose 2-1 to the Netherlands at Wembley

England returned home on Tuesday for a Euro 2016 warm-up against the Netherlands at Wembley, buoyed by a 3-2 win over Germany on Saturday night that had many talking up their chances at the summer tournament (again).
Leicester City pair Jamie Vardy and Danny Drinkwater were handed starts, while Roy Hodgson's men were captained by Liverpool midfielder James Milner.

It was an emotional game due to the death of Dutch legend Johan Cruyff late last week, and the crowd marked his passing with a minute's applause after 14 minutes.
The first half lacked much of a spark...
...until Adam Lallana and Kyle Walker combined to play in Jamie Vardy for his second goal in a week.
The Netherlands equalised shortly after the half-time interval from the penalty spot after a handball by Danny Rose.
Vincent Janssen, who scored the Netherlands' first, soon turned provider for Luciano Narsingh to put the visitors in front, though England thought they should have been awarded a free-kick in the build-up.
Hodgson sent on Dele Alli and Harry Kane in search of an equaliser, but 2-1 it finished, and the reality of the upcoming tournament began to set in among England fans (again).
It's back to the drawing board for England, who will regather for next month's friendlies against Turkey, Australia and Portugal.
