The buzz started in May. The Mirror informed that several Italian outlets had been publishing Juventus' interest on Hernandez. The report said that the club was willing to pay as much as 17 million pounds.
Juventus was gunning for Gonzalo Higuain. However, the Argentina international signed with Napoli, leaving the La Vechia Signora with an open slot for a striker.
According to the Mirror, Liverpool and Valencia are also interested in Hernandez, who could replace Luis Suarez or Roberto Soldado, if they leave their respective clubs.
