Guus Hiddink Confirmed by the Netherlands as Louis Van Gaal’s Replacement

Joe Wright of Goal.com writes that the managerial veteran will be joined by Danny Blind and Ruud van Nistelrooy, who are to become his assistants.
And the Dutch FA also confirmed Blind will succeed Hiddink in 2016, putting him in charge of their next World Cup qualifying campaign.

Wright reports that the former Chelsea manager has signed a two-year deal with the Dutch FA, taking his country through to the next European Championships.
Wright quotes Hiddink saying:
It's an honour to return as coach of the national team. With Danny Blind and Ruud van Nistelrooy we've got a strong team with a lot of knowledge and experience. For me it's great that I can ready my own successor. In this way the football vision for the national team of Holland is guaranteed for the long term. It's a great benefit for the national team and KNVB [Dutch FA]
The director of the Dutch FA, Bert van Oostveen, also added his opinion, per Wright's report:
With Hiddink we've got a Dutch coach with a lot of international experience and success. He has proved himself as a great coach with the clubs and national teams he's worked with. We're also very happy with the rest of the technical staff.
Hiddink has been available for employment since departing from Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala last summer and is widely regarded as one of the elite coaches in world football.
He has vast experience of international football already, having managed the Netherlands to fourth place at the 1998 World Cup finals and also having periods in charge with South Korea, Australia and Russia.
