England International Luke Shaw’s Earliest World Cup Memory Is South Africa 2010

But if you're of a certain age, nothing will make you feel older than Luke Shaw's revelation that the earliest World Cup he remembers is the last one—in South Africa, in 2010.
The full-back is still just 18, and he got the nod for Roy Hodgson's England squad ahead of veteran Ashley Cole, who went to that tournament in South Africa (and the previous two).
Shaw was speaking to the BBC:
His first—and only—memory came four years ago in South Africa when England were knocked out in the last-16 by Germany.
"Frank Lampard took that shot and it went over the line and it didn't count," he recalls. "That was the only one I can remember."
Shaw also mentions in the same interview that he's yet to pass his driving test—although if the multiple reports of a multi-million pound move to Manchester United this summer are true, he'll probably be able to afford taxis everywhere.
And if he wins the World Cup, people will probably just carry him around wherever he needs to go on their backs...
