Bacary Sagna Fractures His Leg, Will Miss the European Championships

Not only will Sagna miss Arsenal's remaining Premier League game against West Brom on Sunday, he has also been ruled out of this summer's European Championships, where he was set to feature for the French national side.
Wenger stated that:
"The season is over for him. He will not play in the Euros,"
"It is the same leg [he fractured against Tottenham Hotspur in October]."
"It has not happened alone, he has been kicked on the leg. I don't know exactly what happened and will have to see it on the television again."
Arsenal's participation in next season's Champions League is now contingent on Tottenham and Newcastle dropping points in their remaining games.
Arsenal will be looking to exploit any dropped points from these two sides in their final league match, but the Gunners face a tough trip to West Brom next Sunday, and Sagna will be badly missed by a defence that is already struggling.
Wenger has youngster Carl Jenkinson at his disposal, but may well elect to play Francis Coquelin at right back, as he did during today's game.
Sagna will also be badly missed by France in this summer's European Championships. French boss Laurent Blanc will probably turn to Mathieu Debuchy of Lille to replace Sagna, who starred for France while playing at right back during their recent 2-1 win over Germany.
Arsenal's official Web site has stated that the fracture has occurred higher up Sagna's right fibula than the injury he sustained against Tottenham.
Yet, it will still be a serious worry for Arsenal fans that Sagna has broken the same leg bone twice in such short succession.
