Henderson got off to a rocky start. The former top-ranked amateur bogeyed two of the first three holes before closing the front nine with birdies on Nos. 6, 8 and 9.
After a bogey on No. 12, Henderson provided the highlight of the round, via the LPGA:
Although the LPGA didn't capture the shot live, Henderson made a hole-in-one on the par-three 13th to jump back to two under par.
Along with the hole-in-one, Henderson also won a Kia K900 for her efforts. Instead of keeping it for herself, she became the sister of the year:

World No. 1 Lydia Ko finished her first round with an even-par 71. The 19-year-old New Zealand native, who made two birdies and two bogeys, is four shots off the lead.
Ko has struggled since finishing in the top three in six straight tournaments, including falling out of the top 10 in her last two tournaments. To be only four shots off the pace is a solid start for the top-ranked golfer in the world.
The first round was filled with up-and-down performances. Christina Kim started strong on the front nine with three birdies but bogeyed two of the first three holes on the back nine before making a crucial birdie putt on No. 16.
It was the same story for In-Kyung Kim. After making birdies on the first two holes, she bogeyed the next two to fall back to even par. She birdied Nos. 13 and 17 to get back to two under, but consistent performances would've put the second-place golfers in better spots.
