Statistically, the next tournament Woods plays in should be a win, seeing that he usually wins at the astonishing pace of one out of 3.5 tries.
With long-time swing coach Hank Haney parting ways with Woods this week, Pebble Beach and the US Open would be the perfect place to unveil a new caddy—Bill Murray. He already plays the course well, and Murray loves Pebble too. Just a match made in heaven.
The next name that immediately comes to mind as a great caddy for Woods would be...poof, I closed my eyes for a moment, and all I could think of was the great statesman, Bill Clinton.
The press conferences would be awesome; everyone would have fun, and the pair could attend classes, therapy, and counseling together.
One more suggestion for a caddy before I leave it to your comments and suggestions for the rest: I think Oprah Winfrey would be a fantastic choice. Carrying the bag she could drop pounds quickly while spending intimate time with her secret love god!
Tiger will wear you out, though, girl, so you better get in some kind of pre-tournament shape before you apply for that position. Or positions.
A girl carrying each club would be kind of cool also, come to think of it. Can you have a person for each club? Is only one caddy at a time a rule?
On a serious note, this next major for Woods comes at a crossroad in his career. His wife and children are gone and he has legal issues to deal with. The body is aging and showing signs of wear and tear.
His swing coach is gone, and he is truly alone with his demons. I would get a new caddy, too. Finish cleaning house and start anew.
