Why Tiger Woods Doesn’t Seem To Have Changed One Bit

1. He is once again attempting to control the situation and the media
The one single aspect of this entire ordeal that undoubtedly frustrated Woods more than anything else was that, for once in his life, he had no control over the media or his public image.
The story was out there, and news outlets—tabloid and mainstream alike—were off and running, and there was not a damn thing Woods could do about it.
Think he's learned a lesson?
Think again.
Woods' first action on his road to returning to professional golf is an attempt to wield complete control over the media and the information that is being distributed.
Woods will make a short statement in front of friends, family, and colleagues only, and no questions will be asked.
He is not allowing himself to be questioned or held accountable for his actions. His lawyers, agents, PR reps, and managers are making the statement; Woods is simply going to read it.
This whole situation spun out of control a long time ago, and any attempt by Woods to now reel it in and gain control over it will undoubtedly fall short.
2. He doesn’t seem to have mixed up his inner circle
Saying that Woods’ agent, managers, PR reps, caddie, etc. had no idea about Woods and his cocktail waitresses is like attempting to convince the public that there’s a politician out there who doesn’t lie.
Guys like Tiger Woods are rarely, if ever, alone.
They are constantly surrounded by agents, managers, PR reps, security, etc.
