WGC Cadillac Championship 2013: Tiger Woods and Other Big Winners from Event

I'm back.
It might seem a little premature to call that for the golfing legend, but given that this is just the first time in five years that Woods will enter Augusta with more than one win on the season under his belt, it's definitely valid to suggest that the veteran will be a top challenger for the event.
If not the favorite to win it all.
Yet as impressive as Woods' performance was in Miami, he was not the only one to emerge as a "winner" from the event. Several other big-name golfers thrived under the conditions, and used the tournament—for various reasons—to put them back into the winners' circle.

Rory McIlroy, T8th overall
Given all that's unfolded with the world No. 1 both on and off the course this season, finishing with a top-10 finish will do wonders for Rory McIlroy.
His form and mental strength had been under great question throughout the opening part of the year, with his girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki also coming under fire, and it seemingly left the world champion unable to achieve the same level of performance that he had throughout 2012.
That was until this weekend, when McIlroy fired a huge seven-under par 65 on the final round to take him inside the top 10 for the tournament.
He proved to the world that McIlroy is still one of the top golfers in the world (if not the top) and he proved to himself that he does have the ability to come back and challenge in any event. Even when things don't seem to be going the way that he would have wanted.
