One doesn't have to look very far in the field to find major winners and legends of the game, with Mark O'Meara, Tom Watson and Rocco Mediate just a few of the notables to grace Del Paso Country Club this week. They're all looking to trump Colin Montgomerie, who comes in as the defending champion.

U.S. Senior Open Preview
Whoever says the old guys can't still hit it with the best of them doesn't keep up with the U.S. Senior Open.
Even with the USGA opting for difficult courses and even harder hole placements in its marquee events, low scores have graced the U.S. Senior Open over the years. Scores of at least 10 strokes under par have been the winning number in eight tournaments since 2000, including Fred Funk's incredible 20-under performance at Crooked Stick in 2009.
One golfer looking to build off his recent performance is Montgomerie, who shot five strokes under par at Oak Tree National to win the 2014 event. He just turned 52 after his performance at the U.S. Open, and the tournament congratulated him:
The chance to repeat is only where the motivation starts for Montgomerie, as he's also eyeing a chance to move up in Charles Schwab Cup points and settle a personal rivalry with fellow golfer Bernhard Langer.
