US Open Leaderboard 2015: Updating Results and Standings for Saturday

Plenty of movement occurred atop the 2015 U.S. Open leaderboard on Friday, as over-par rounds by Day 1 leaders Henrik Stenson and Dustin Johnson paved the way for a changing of the guard.

One thing stayed the same, however, following 36 holes of action: the field's growing discontent with Chambers Bay.

The course's bumpy and inconsistent greens were drawing some unflattering reviews from many of the tournament's participants, and that didn't change Friday. One such example of feedback came from Stenson, who told Bill Pennington of the New York Times: "It was pretty much like putting on broccoli."

Still, every player must deal with the same conditions, and Ryan Moore remained level-headed about the situation when speaking with Terry Blount of ESPN.com, saying: "They are definitely not the smoothest putting surface in the world. But some people are making putts on them. That's the reality."

Will the greens affect players trying to climb the leaderboard on moving day and ultimately put the tournament out of reach for most participants? Jordan Spieth



Don't look now, but the Masters champion sits atop the U.S. Open leaderboard through 36 holes. After a solid two-under 68 in Round 1, Jordan Spieth fired a three-under 67 Friday to move to five under for the tournament and earn a tie for the lead.
