Travelers Championship 2016: Leaderboard Scores, Prize-Money Payouts

None of it was enough to stop Russell Knox from tossing his hat and winning the 2016 Travelers Championship on Sunday.
Knox made a 12-foot par putt on No. 18 to finish at 14 under overall, one stroke ahead of the hard-charging Kelly. Knock shot a two-under 68 on the day, overcoming a bogey on No. 16 and a field full of guys determined to go low and knock him off.
The PGA Tour captured Knox's winning moment:
"Once it started kind of creeping left, I knew it was going in, and what an unbelievable feeling. It's truly amazing," Knox told reporters.
The win was Knox's third of his career and second in 2016. Jason Day, Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson and Adam Scott are the only other multitime champions on the PGA Tour this year. Overall, the 31-year-old has won three times since November and is in the midst of the finest season of his career.
Knox said after the round he believes his win should be enough to seal up a Ryder Cup spot:
I knew by winning this tournament, it's put Darren Clarke in a very difficult position not to pick me. I think—but I mean, it's his decision. If I don't make the team, I can't think I'm worthy of a pick. It's his decision. He can pick whoever he wants, and that's the luxury of it. If I make the top nine, then I deserve to be on the team. If I'm No. 10, he can quite happily pass on me, and that's just the way it is.
Making it all the more impressive is the type of performances he beat Sunday.
Furyk, who entered the day tied for 70th place, fired off the first 58 in PGA Tour history. He carded 10 birdies and an eagle, shooting an astounding 27 on the front nine. The round was good enough to shoot him all the way up into a tie for fifth place.
