Harman posted his second consecutive round of 65, but as seen in this rundown of the leaderboard from PGATour.com, he is being closely pursued by both Watson and Canada's Graham DeLaet:
The day began with Harman trailing Watson by two shots for the lead, but he was able to erase the deficit and pull in front by virtue of an extremely strong round. Harman posted five birdies and no bogeys, but no shot was bigger than this one on the 18th, courtesy of the PGA Tour's official Twitter account:
Harman went on to make that putt for birdie, which held up as the difference between him and the second-place golfers.
Although Watson didn't have an awful day, his 68 paled in comparison to the scores of 62 and 67 that he put up in the opening two rounds respectively.
Things actually could have gone much worse for the veteran lefty, but a fortuitous bounce on the 15th hole saved him from dropping additional strokes:
Watson is joined at 13-under by DeLaet, who surged up the leaderboard with a six-under 64, which was among the best scores of the round.
The Canadian picked up four strokes in a four-hole stretch on the back nine, culminating in this big-time eagle make on 15 to put him just one shot off the lead entering Sunday's final round:
While DeLaet's round of 64 was fantastic, he certainly wasn't alone in that regard. Paul Casey and Zach Johnson also shot six-under rounds of 64, and they are lurking a few shots behind Harman at 11-under.
Casey has played fewer tournaments on the European Tour this season, and Brian Wacker of PGATour.com pointed out that is has been a fruitful decision:
