No one was paying much attention to little Tim Clark as the drama that is often called the final round of the TPC began to unfold on Sunday.

"There's a reason why Mr. Clark has been second eight times," said NBC's Johnny Miller, a critic of everyone and especially the everyman, Clark.

Miller didn't give any reasons why. Clark gave 67 reasons why this was his time, his tournament, his first PGA Tour win, and his ultimate answer to the doubting Miller.

Clark laced it long and center-cut with a slight draw that left Miller aghast.

"It's almost hard to believe," Miller blurted.

Believe it, Johnny.

The little guy who took more than 200 attempts to win an event on this tour was a huge winner this week to the tune of $1.7 million.

"It's as good as I could have played," Clark proudly declared afterward.

Clark was good but Westwood wasn't. The Englishman who led after three rounds was taken down most o...
