Tiger Woods’ Victory Proves Greatness Never Left Him

No, Tiger had the skills all along, they were just buried beneath the demons within. He is still a great golfer, and he always will be.
His win at the Chevron World Challenge this past weekend is proof that his clutch gene is alive and well, and the rest of the golf world needs to watch out.
These past years were troubling times for one of golf's greatest players, but with this win he gets the monkey off his back so to speak.
All the whispers of whether or not Tiger has lost his edge are thrown out the window, and the talk of Tiger surpassing Jack Nicklaus for the most Major wins resumes.
We've seen Tiger at his all-time high and his all-time low, and now he will continue to keep rising.
Tiger knows that this was a rough patch for him, and this win puts an end to it. He took to Twitter to share his thoughts on his victory.
However, his tweet right after that is what should really get people talking. He asked his followers if they were up for listening to the rapper LL Cool J, and he followed it up with a smiley face emoticon and a link to the song, "Mama Said Knock You Out."
What's great about that tweet is the opening line of the song.
"Don't Call it a comeback, I've been here for years."
Well played Eldrick, well played.
That's exactly the truth. Tiger may have been on a downward spiral, but he never truly left the game. The more he lost the more people thought he was done for good, but that was all crazy talk.
He is the best golfer in the world, and will dominate in 2012.
